Cristie Powers brings a wealth of local knowledge and a passion for real estate to her range of clients in Jacksonville, FL. Born in London, England, Cristie moved to Jacksonville at a young age when her father’s service in the US Air Force brought her family stateside. She grew up in the vibrant Riverside neighborhood, but during her 20’s and 30’s, she spent time in different areas of Jax, including the Beaches, and for the past 15 years she has called Avondale home. Cristie knows this city inside and out and is able to offer an insider’s perspective on the city’s unique neighborhoods and their charm.

As a licensed Realtor®, Cristie quickly made a name for herself in the industry, thanks to her deep-rooted local connections and natural aptitude for the work. She takes pride in helping buyers find homes that meet their specific needs, thriving on the creative problem-solving involved in matching people with the perfect property. For sellers, Cristie applies her design expertise and strategic thinking to ensure their homes shine in the market.

Cristie’s passion for homes extends beyond real estate. She considers home renovations and project management not just a side career but also a beloved hobby. She finds immense satisfaction in transforming run-down buildings into beautiful, functional spaces. When not helping clients, Cristie enjoys spending time outdoors. Whether kayaking down a river, hiking a mountain, or savoring some quiet moments on a cabin porch with a cup of coffee in hand, she feels most at peace surrounded by nature.

A devoted mother, Cristie has raised three children in the Riverside/Avondale area. Her two eldest are proud graduates of the University of North Carolina, while her youngest daughter attends the Episcopal School of Jacksonville and lives with Cristie in their Avondale home. If you need any information on Jacksonville schools, she can help.

Favorite restaurant in Jax?

Orsay is my all-time favorite restaraunt. Their Prince Edward Island Mussels and the Plat De Fromage are must-haves.

What's your guilty pleasure?

I love inviting a friend over for a cup of hot tea and a nice selection of English biscuits and tea cakes. Warms my soul.

Your absolute favorite spot in Jacksonville?

I can’t say that I have a favorite spot per se, but I love being along the river, especially during an event when others are out enjoying it too. The Arts Market and the Cummer Museum Gardens are fantastic spots, and the riverwalk is a great place to ride a bike to get pretty views of downtown and to spot dolphins too. :)

What's your favorite room in a house?

My favorite room in a house is typically the kitchen. Especially kitchens with windows that can be opened on a nice fall day. I also love a nice living space that is aesthetically pleasing.. because I enjoy kicking back to admire the layout and decor or to spot out what it is needing next.

With her extensive knowledge of Jacksonville’s neighborhoods, a passion for homes and history, and a commitment to client success, Cristie Powers is the perfect guide for anyone looking to buy or sell in this dynamic city.

“Above all the things that I love about real estate, it is the relationship that I share with my client that I cherish the most. I value honesty and integrity at a very high regard and I pride myself on maintaining these values, even if I risk losing a deal. I will not make false promises in order to gain business, and I think people respect that.”
