David is a born and raised Jacksonville native.  A graduate of Episcopal High School and the University of Florida’s Warrington College of Business; he has worked in corporate finance for the last 10 years.  David has performed analysis and underwriting for commercial brokerages, real estate developers, and local corporations.  A lifelong love of the built environment and the financial instruments of real estate are what brought him to the real estate industry and an appreciation for small business and the entrepreneurial spirit are what brought him to Cowford Realty and Design. When not at work, he enjoys spending time on or in the water.  He is a certified advanced scuba diver as well as a certified free diver. David is also on the board of San Marco Preservation Society. He lives in the Saint Nicholas neighborhood with his chocolate lab, Bear.

I’m passionate about our state and protecting our environmental resources like the springs in central Florida and the reef off the coast.

Baker point park and Stinson Park. You can see the sunrise in the morning over downtown and watch it set in the evening over the sailboats moored in the Ortega River.
