Kelly is a Jacksonville native and an enthusiastic REALTOR® determined to help her clients reach their goals. Before entering the world of real estate, she worked for 10 years as an elementary school teacher.  During that time she created her school’s STEM program from the ground up. Her strong work ethic and passion for encouraging the learning process are on full display when interacting with her clients as she guides them through the transaction process by succinctly outlining and explaining everything along the way, ensuring that her clients are informed, confident, and empowered as they make important decisions about their homes.

Kelly is professional, focused, and ready to help you buy a home, sell a home, or find your perfect rental. Kelly is focused on enabling her clients to enjoy the exciting process of acquiring a home.  She loves making the process fun and as stress-free as possible with an emphasis on communication.

Kelly’s connection with Jacksonville goes back generations. She grew up in the beautiful San Marco neighborhood and graduated from Stanton College Preparatory School. Her parents were high school sweethearts at Wolfson and her great-great-grandfather Walter Jones was Postmaster and the proprietor of the Mandarin Store in the early 1900s. Walter Jones Park off of Mandarin Road is named for him.  Kelly’s great grandfather W.J. Jones ran his own real estate business in south Jacksonville from the 1950’s through the late 1970’s.  His offices were located on King’s Avenue where the Tepeyolot Cerveceria Mexican restaurant is now located.

Kelly graduated with honors from Florida International University in Miami earning a Bachelor's degree in English. After teaching for a few years in Coral Gables, she was drawn back to Jacksonville’s river, beaches and open spaces as well as its rapidly expanding culture. Jacksonville is a large city with small-town charm. This friendly, laid back and distinctive community has much to offer. These qualities and closeness with family reaffirmed to Kelly that Jacksonville was her home. Kelly’s first house was a 1940’s red brick bungalow in the St. Nicholas area.  She still lives there today with her husband Scott, son Skip, and Wirehaired Vizsla Margot.

In her free time Kelly enjoys traveling, canoeing, camping, shark tooth hunting at any beach, dog agility training, and spending quality time with friends and family.

Favorite restaurant in Jax?

This is a difficult question to answer as our city is home to so many great restaurants. As a self-proclaimed foodie, I love all the food that Jacksonville has to offer! I dream about the Mayport fried shrimp and blackened scallops at Dockside Seafood in Jacksonville Beach. I also love catching happy hour at Hawkers in 5 Points and getting lunch with a big slice of cake at Biscottis in Avondale. Catullo's Italian near Queen’s Harbour is always worth the wait. I grew up frequenting Metro Diner and La Nopalera with my family so those local spots have a special place in my heart!

Your absolute favorite spot in Jacksonville?

My favorite spot has to be Ponte Vedra Beach. I spend hours walking the beach collecting fossilized shark teeth. It is so peaceful and therapeutic! All of our beaches are beautiful and are a huge perk to living here.

If you won the lottery, what would you do with your winnings?

I would love to live on the beach, and while we’re at it, get a vacation property in the North Georgia Mountains!

What’s your favorite room in a house?

The kitchen is the heart of the home! Whether I am cooking with my husband on a weeknight, or setting up a big spread to host family and friends, it’s always a good time. Dancing and quality control tastings are always encouraged in our kitchen! Runner-up is the backyard. I love a home that has an oasis right out back- add a deck and a grill and you are set up to enjoy your own piece of North Florida paradise!
