"I love the unique and different stories within each home's walls. Some stories begin as a well-loved home ready to be filled with new memories, and some as a forgotten property, ready for a fresh start and breath of new life. The ability to find, create, design, and share your own special space is the best part of real estate."
Romy Vann’s love of real estate began with a passion for restoring and revitalizing homes. In 2015, she and her husband began buying, renovating, and revitalizing homes throughout Jacksonville, including homes in Historic Riverside, Springfield, San Marco and many waterfront communities. With an extensive history buying, selling, investing, renovating, and even launching long and short-term rentals--her knowledge extends further than your everyday agent! Whether you are selling your cherished home, hoping to find the perfect one to move into, or looking to invest, she’ll be your trusted ally and advocate no matter what your real estate goals are. Her goal is to make this sometimes daunting process be as smooth and fun as possible through keeping clients informed and making them feel empowered. If it’s any testament to her commitment and perseverance…Romy is a lifelong, dedicated Jaguars fan, so you KNOW that means she’ll be committed and determined, even when times are tough.
Romy’s passion for restoring and revitalizing goes beyond real estate, as she is deeply committed to the protection and preservation of our environment, wildlife and natural resources. In addition to being an agent with Cowford Realty, Romy is the Conservation Director for Public Trust, an environmental non-profit law firm, and serves on the City of Atlantic Beach Environmental Stewardship Committee.
Why Jacksonville? 1,100 miles of navigable water, the largest urban park system in the nation, and diverse and thriving communities—just to name a few. As an avid surfer, hiker, free diver and camper, access to the outdoors is one of her favorite parts of Northeast Florida. The daughter of an immigrant father from Zimbabwe and a mother who wrote for a travel magazine, she grew up traveling and exploring new places—but Jacksonville will always be home. She currently resides with her husband, new daughter and slightly chunky rescue dog in Atlantic Beach.
